Client Management Suite

I migrated from NS7.0 to NS7.1 for my server, on the workstation I manually uninstall 7.0 agent by use AexAgentUtil.exe .uninstallagents /clean. and installed 7.1 agents, but PcAnywhere have big issue did not work.

Can someone tell me how to clean out 7.1 registry key.

Before you go to registry for a complete clean up, did you get a chance to read the manuals at C:\Program Files\Symantec\pcAnywhere\Documentation. Those might help you. AexAgentUtil.exe  /clean and AexAgentUtil.exe / uninstallagents should be more than enough for you to proceed with a fresh installation. Also, the logs will tell you what went wrong.

What was your pcAnywhere issue?

I uninstall 7.0 and pcAnywhere 1.5 version from workstion, then installed new version of 7.1 agent and PcAnywhere 12.6 , but when I try to use PcAnywhere then screen pop up like attachment

And you installed this via the default pcAnywhere Plug-in Install policy?  Or some other method?

I'm interesting too for a complete manually methodology to remove Symantec Agent and Plug-ins. (Files and Registry)

Since my clients are migrated to 7.0 to 7.1, I've an Inventory / Crash Agent Problem...

I had to go and remove each entry from registry when I did that the last time. Also, I had to clean C:\Windows\Temp folder since it had some software delivery tasks copied by Symantec.

Use AexAgentUtil.exe / uninstallagents first and then use u. AexAgentUtil.exe  /clean.....Hope this will help clear everything......
