i need to backup my bank's database on SYBASE . and the management of IT wants it compressed. how do i go about it.

please its very urgent . i need to respond today.

The Sybase 'dump' command has a 'compress' keyword:

This will be the most efficient way of compressing the backup. Hope this helps.
