  • 1.  How to configure HP C7000 from Altiris Deployment?

    Hi,

    We have an HP C7000 (16 blades - BL460) and then we  have a license for HP Insight Control server deployment (Altiris Server Deployment). We have installed a dedicated server for this software (VM machine) and wants it to connect to the blades, and has added the virtual bay corresponding to the C7000 enclosure, but we can not! The MAC adress field is inactive, and we can not find any documentation on how to configure it!

    The Blades are already running OS (Win 2008 R2 and ESX 4.1) so we do not want to experiment with deploying anything at this stage!

    Can somebody help us, since we have spend a week on figuring this out, and we are going crazy!

    Check under Program Options | Global - This is Deployment Console | Tools | Options | Global

    Make sure the MAC Address and Serial NUmber check boxes are marked.
