How to configure Internal LiveUpdate server and SEP Manager work together

    Hi,
    I have setup an LiveUpdate server in my network ( the architect on the left hand)
    imagebrowser image

    I have already succesfully configured LiveUpdate server with Symantec products, source server, distribution centers and export client setting to LiveUpdate folder.
    I also configured Management server, which LiveUpdate source server for local site point to internal LiveUpdate server (ex: http://lab:7070/clud-prod).
    When I click on Download LiveUpdate content, download started but then generate an error: LiveUpdate encountered one or more errors. Return code = 4; [ Site: Site svr1]
    Help me fix this error.

    Hi  :
    Turn on liveupdate debug mode:
    1. go to control panel--> liveupdate setting  can modify the log mode.
    2Beware PLZ turn to normal mode back ,after you collect your log.



    Would you post your Log.LiveUpdate file ? It will be in \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate .
    You may found more detail what error happen !!

    Hi,

    Return code = 4 means "connection failed", you can find more details in the log.liveupdate (\docs&setts\all users\app data\symantec\liveupdate\).

    I have missed config source server on Symantec LUA. I have fixed this error and it works well now.
