How to configure Package Server on an IIS Server where another application is using .NET Framework 1.1?

    Dear All,

Does anyone know how to configure IIS to allow my SMP 7.0 Package Server to use .NET Framework 2.0 in parallel with another application that is using 1.1?

They both seem to be using the Default Web Site.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

assign it to the app pool and give it a different port # (like 8081). I'm really not sure how Altiris would handle it, as it passes the codebases down with a specific url (with no port #). In any case if you decide to move Altiris off, you would most likely have to manually create the PS\TS virtual directories.

...then it won't hear its local machines that are trying to contact it on port 80!

I can't change the ports for the whole infrastructure just for one Package Server.

I had thought about just allowing that one Package Server to publish UNC Codebases, but you can only set HTTP codebases to be on and off globally!

    Grargness McGrarg.

Any other ideas? Am I going to have to find another server for my Site Server?

    Kindest regards,
