Protection Engine for Cloud Services

Hi,

I am currently working on a global role out of a SAP E-Recruitment system.

I have installed an evaluation copy of the Symantec Scan Engine on a SAP LINUX application server and started it up with no problems.

What I want to do is configure the SAP ABAP system to use the Scan Engine to verify documents that are uploaded to SAP. I cannot find any documents / information with enough low level detail that will allow me to get this working.

If anyone has done this already or can point me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated.

I would recommend contacting SAP as Symantec is unable to provide guidance with their software or configuration.

If ABAP has a virus scanning options to use an ICAP or NATIVE scanner/server that is where you would configure the options in ABAP to use the Scan Engine.

i,m looking for same sort of information but i can't find any solution . trying to use the VSA provided by sap but still not able to get it working,
