  • 1.  how to convert non-shared policy back to shared

    If I have converted the Liveupdate Setting policy to non-shared-- by mistake. How do I convert it back to shared.

    I have since created a linked Location-specific policy with a shared Liveupdate Setting policy. Can I use that shared policy and replace the non-shared one?  What is the proper way to do this?

    Thanks

    using SEP 11.0.6a

    with only a couple clients in this specific non-inherited with parent "My Company"

    cannot be done :)

    select inherit option  and make it shared again

    In SEPM - Policies

    Select the Liveupdate Policy and assign it to the Groups it was assigned earlier including the one for which you made it non-shared.

    It will become shared.

    First of all, thanks.

    May I offer the click solution and please check my work.

    In SEPM Policies -->View Policies Click-->LiveUpdate-->View Tasks Click-->Assign the Policy-->open Group by Click-->'bullseye'-->Click-->boxes to 'check'-->Click -->Assign button.
