  • 1.  How to copy Touchdown for Android data to new phone

    Posted Mar 19, 2015 01:46 PM

    Hi folks,

My old phone is more or less dead and with great difficulty I can get some app started sometimes.

One of my apps is Touchdown for Smartphones.

I have installed a new version of Touchdown on my new phone, but how can I copy my data from the old phone to the new one.

I can see the old phone as a disk via my computer (sometimes).

    all help is very welcome.

    Best regards.

    all help is very welcome.

    Best regards.

Not sure why you would want to do that.  Isn't your email stored on a server?  The data on the phone is just a copy.  I guess if you're running POP3 and you delete it from the server after downloading it would only be on your phone, but most folks don't do that any more.  ActiveSync or LDAP, and keep the mail on the server.

I have no idea how you would copy it over.  I just blow my installation away, reinstall, and it pulls it down from the server again.
