if you have gss 2.0, you can create bootable CD using ghost boot wizard.
in ghost implementation guide, page 262 have some more information on how to create iso image from ghost boot wizard.

I did what page 262 in the implemination manual. I click on the create ISO Image but the filename is blank and the browse button is there. I checked on support for creating a bottable CDs/DVD.  Also the next button to go ahead is greyed out where do I browse in the filename field for the ISO.

    thank you

    Hi Andy ,

Just keep going ,enter the name for your ISO image, check box for support for creating bootable CDs/DVDs and you should be able to go ahead.
Once you have created ISO image use any software you have to burn CD/DVD from ISO.

Here is also the KB article:

I was able to make the iso and burn it however it will not boot. I get the simple message of "boot failure"

I am trying to use sysprep to create an image that can be deployed on differnt models. I was able to make the referance computer however i am having such a hard time getting ghost to make an image of it.

Yes i checked bootable CD/DVD, and i tried it again with MS-DOS instead. My disk now boots!

    however,
i can only see the local drive. it doesnt seem to recognise the USB external drive which is where I want to put the image.
Yes I checked off "support USB"

ive seen this problem before but i cant for the life of figure out how to fix it.

oh and just for referance it is an IBM R30, Windows Xp Pro that I am trying to image.
