    Hi All,

     

    I looking to build a connection between our Servicedesk tool to the Altiris Resource Manager.

    The idea is that it will create URL from the base url to resource manager a add the GUID of the computer on the end

    I have the code to create the full url and it works ok as a user who has access to the console.  However we have 30K users on the service desk product.  i want to avoid importing and configuiring all these users.

    Does anyone know of a way to pass in the a user/password in a IE session.  You used to be able to pass the user name and password in the URL but this has since been removed.  

    Is there anyway to do this using java script?
