  • 1.  how to decrypt file SEE Removable Storage.

    as administrator for SEE Removable Storage 8.2.1, can I decrypt or recover the file using the administrator password without a certificate if the user forgot password?

    Can I decrypt / encrypt removable storage on the management console?

    I'm afraid not.

    The only recovery option when using SEE-RS is the Master Recovery cert. which must be set up before users start encrypting their files.

    That said, it is also possible to the the WorkGroup keys functionality as a kind of recovery option, but again it needs to have been put in place before a file is encrypted (and of course you need to have recorded the workgroup key too).
