After creating a package, I decided to no longer use it and delete it from the server. When the Package no longer apears in the console, it is still on the client as Disabled. I have used the Update the Application Option in  the Client UI, and rebooted. However the application is still on the client.

    What gives?

Setting idle package time to live to 0 (in the manage license page) for said package is one way to have the packages deleted locally, before deleting the package on the server side. Another way to manipulate local package state is through the use of CMS.

Boo. Thats too bad, so by checking back in with the Streaming Server, and it knows the package is no longer there, the product will still be on the desktop with all advertisement in the menu's?

Would love to hear otherwise from the other folks in the community though.

Steps to Remove Package from Client UI.

    1. Open the Streaming Agent UI.

    2. Click MyApplications Tab in the Client UI.

    3. Select the application which you want to be removed from the client machine and then click Remove button. The application will be removed from the client machine successfully.

I wish I knew a way to do it from the Streaming Server as well.  The only way I can think of on a large scale would be to write a script in CMS that says:

    "c:\program files\symantec\workspace streaming\bin\appmgrcmd.exe" -ra
