Hi,

Is there any smarter way to deploy SAVFL v 13 into multiple LINUX server ?

Rather than manually transferring using Filezilla into the server and manually installing it one by one is a tedious task with 57 server :-| .

I agree it is a tiresome job but I believe that manaual installation is the only option we have for installing SAVFL. Check with the below links,

Some companies have created a master image of Linux with SAVFL correctly installed and configured, then deployed that to many servers/desktops.  That likely won't help you if those 57 machines are already in place, though.....

There may be 3rd party deployment tools which can do the mass deployment job the same way there are on Windows.  However, Symantec has not tested or certified any of these so can't really make recommendations. 

If any Linux admins have successfully used these and would care to share their experiences and advice, I predict you'd receive a flood of "thumbs up" votes! &: )

well I guess that there is no other choice to do the installation at the moment.

From a security admin POV, it would be wise to get AV protection in place ASAP rather than wait for a convenient procedure. There's been a lot of cross-platform threats in the recent months- any action that keeps your data safe from them is recommended.  Here's a new emerging threat, in case you have not been made aware of it by news reports:
