Hello,

We need to install Backup Exec Remote Agent on both the nodes of the Cluster. In Backup Exec we will be able to see the SQL databases in the Virtual Node.

Hope this helps....

Its a best practice to have a "Support Contract" with Symantec...

Dear Dev T,

Thanks a lot for your reply, i will try and let you know about it.

But any other necessary action needed to be taken or any consideration in order to deploy the clustered SQL Agent in Backup Exec.

Once again, millions of thanks.

Hello,

Remote agent installation requires a reboot.

1  : NODE1 : Move the resources to NODE2, install remote agent on NODE1 and reboot
2  : NODE2 : Move the resources on NODE1, install remote agent on NODE2 and reboot

Hope this helps...
