1. In the Symantec Management Console, on the Home menu, click Service and Asset Management > Manage Configuration Items.
2. In the left pane, expand Computers and Peripherals and click Computers.
3. In the right pane (in the computers list), right-click a computer to which you want to add associations, and then click Edit.
4. In the Edit configuration item window, you can add for example Asset Owner, Location, Associated Assets, Cost Items, etc.
   Note that the Users and Locations must be entered before you can make the associations.
   As Cost Items I would recommend to add mouse, cables, and similar items that you don't want to monitor after giving them out.
   
5. Click OK to save the data.

In this case it makes sense to import the data using the Data Connector.
Once again, you must import locations, departments, user data, etc. before importing the computers.
