how do I create new email templates?

Hello - I am newbie here. I would like to create new email templates but not sure where to start. Can someone please help?

Creating New Email Templates
You can go to Admin > Email Templates > List Email Message Templates. I find it easiest to look for an already created template that looks like what you want and clone it. You can then edit the clone and swap out whatever content you want. If you know HTML real well you can erase all the content in the clone and create your own look. Let me know if this is a good enought start for you.
Email Template Banner not showing in outlook
Hello -
I am new at this position. I have been creating email templates (Cloning already created ones and editing) and notices that the BANNER show great Preview section, but when it is emailed to an outlook account the banner is lost. I am trying to make things look nice so I am looking for suggestion.
