This issue has been solved. See solution.

Dear All,

I am trying to find fields on the Software Purchase Resource Type in the database and the one that I cannot find is "Internal Reference Id" on the Details tab.

In fact, I cannot find ANY fields on this tab in the database. Where are they and where can I find docoumentation or a process that allows me to just find it myself?

I have already looked for the attributes in the Data Classes.

Hellllllllllllllllllllllllp!

Hi,

Internal Reference ID is an attribute on the 'Internal Reference' data class (as are the rest of the fields on that tab). If you are looking for the data class definition, it is under the 'CMDB Data Classes' folder.

Hint (just in case you're not aware already) - when you are editing an instance of the resource type ie and actual Software Purchase, the data class name will show up as the bold text on the page, and the attributes of that data class are the normal text below it.

The corresponding table in the database is Inv_Internal_Reference.

hth,

Hilary
