How do I get Cube Reports to show up in the ProcessManager 7.5 Cube Reports Viewer?

Dear All,

I have been trying to work out how to set up cube reporting in SD 7.5 because I know that there is the IT Analytics ServiceDesk Pack 7.5 and there is a Cube Report Viewer in ProcessManager. When the IT Analytics ServiceDesk Pack is set up, this shows up as cubes and reports in the Altiris Console.

However, there is still the matter of getting the cubes to show up in the ProcessManager in the Cube Report Viewer:


I discovered this reasonably useful article that described how to set up the cube reporting in the ProcessManager, but there were some issues with it:

When I look into the Web.config in the D:\Program Files\Symantec\Workflow\ProcessManager directory, I cannot find the setting that it is suggesting to set for this to work:

Edit the web.config file in C:\Program Files\Altiris\Workflow\ProcessManager\ by changing the “Initial Catalog=ProcessManagerAnalysis” to “Initial
Catalog=<Newly Created Cube database name>”

Also, I have set up the Connection Context List in the ProcessManager (as advised) and when I press the "Test Connection", I get "Connection Test: Fail", which is what brings me back to not being able to set the Initial Catalog in the above.

However, while further researching, I found the following article that seems to say that Cube Reporting is not supported in SD 7.1 (and up???):

This is all really confusing, as I have several articles helping with how to get cube reporting to work and one that says that it will never work.

I must admit that I was never called upon to set up Cube Reporting in SD 7.0, so I am wondering if the article is talking about another Cube Reporting for SD and that I am following down the correct path.

Can anyone please advise on how to get the Cube Report Viewer working in SD 7.5?
