How do i get my upgrades from SAV Corporate to SEP 11.0?

In order to upgrade your product SAVCE 10.x, you must have a valid support to be eligible for the free of charge upgrade to SEP 11.0. For us to validate your account, you may contact our Customer Care Hotline at 800 721 3934.

In order to upgrade from SAV

In order to upgrade from SAV to SEP ,  you need to call Symantec Licensing and get the Serail Number to download SEP

Once you have that , Go to   http://fileconnect.symantec.com and downlaod SEP

Obtaining an upgrade or update for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x or Symantec Network Access Control 11.x

Upgrading..

Hi John_Ga,

Upgrading from SAV Corporate to SEP 11.0 is easy. First, you would need to verify whether you are entitled for FREE upgrade. If your SAV Corporate still have support or Maintenance agreement when the release if SEP(September 27, 2007) Therefore you are indeed entitled for the upgrade.

Normally customer's will received their "Upgrade Notification Id" from Symantec Upgrade Center which will have your upgrade information.

If Symantec fails to send your upgrade details. Work around is to call us customercare and get live assistance.

Here are the steps that you will be encountering upon calling customercare:
• Customercare will get your SAV Corporate Information(Customer Number, Serial Number or Order Number, Any of these will work)
• Once your upgrade is validated
• You will be directed to https://fileconnect.symantec.com/licenselogin.jsp?localeStr=en_US
• You SEP 11.0.5(New Released) Upgrade Serial Number Will be given to you
• Once you have downloaded your SEP 11.0
• You can easily install the upgrade on top of your SAV Corporate since both product does not need any license file(Conflict Free)
