Does anyone know how to get to an Associated Document as a Double-click in a report?
I have a requirement to be able to Double-click upon a line in a Contract report and then to show the document that it is associated with (if defined). This is as if the user had gone into the Contract Edit Page and then pressed the "View Doc" button.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I could imagine that it is possible, as you can create a Drilldown that does an "Open a URL in a new Window". I just do not know what the URL might be and I think that the "View Doc" button must do something similar, so I think that it must be possible.
I have switched on IIS logging on and done a "View Doc", but there is nothing that shows the detail of the Post/Get in the logs. I am guessing that this might be because it might be an ActiveX control that does the display? I would have thought that IIS would have at least received and processed SOMETHING when it has to decide which the document to show or is this working all in a UNC?
Hmm. Can anyone else shed light upon this?
