How do I know if my PGP Virtual Disk is healthy?

Created: 30 Oct 2012 | 1 comment

Let say the power goes off when the disk is mounted or when I was accessing the information located on the Virtual Disk. Is there a utility that checks if there are errors on the disk?

I am using fix size disks under Windows and when I right click on the mounted disk to bring up its properties and click on the Tools tab and click on the CHECK to perform Error checking (This option will check the drive for file system errors), it tells me “we found errors on this drive. To prevent data loss, repair this drive now.” Should I go ahead and Repair the PGP Virtual Disk using Windows utility or is there another disk utility from PGP that I should use?

Thanks or any help.

It is okay to let Windows fix the errors.
