Endpoint Protection

Trying to clean up our records and I cannot find the original paperwork for our version of SAVCorpED. Is there a way to retrieve this information from the server itself?

There does not seem to be anything obvious in the registry or in the file system.

Any info would be appreciated.

 

 

That possibility is going to largely depend on several factors.

 

1. What version are you running?

2. Does the version you are running require any *.SLF files to activate?

Note: you will see these files located in the directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Licenses

 

If the software is the Corporate Edition that does not require any license key file {SLF}, then the answer is "NO".

 

If the software is the Small Business version that did require a license key file, Can I have you copy the contents of the SLF file, along with your company's name and address information, and I will see what I can find in our Licensing Database.

We are running Symantac Antivirus corporate ed.

There are no files in the directory indicated.

 

Then it is not going to be possible to find your licensing information from within the program as it is does not use any keys for activation. I would recommend calling customer care at 800-721-3934 and they can search by company name/address for the status of your support contract
