  • 1.  How Do I Set A Policy in SEP 12.1 Unmanaged?

I have a few workstations that are not on our domain therefore are not managed by the SEPM console, so we have the sep 12.1 .exe installed, but I was wondering is there a way for me to set a policy on each workstation that is unmanaged to request a password if someone tries to open the gui? I have this setup on the management console and want to do it for the unmanaged also.

is this what you looking for?

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH106486&locale=en_US

then open your unmanged clients interface
click on help and trouble shooting
    click on troubleshooting
under the policy profile click on import
this will ask for .dat file
select the one you exported in the management console as per the symantec document.
