How do I setup antivirus on an EMC Isilon?

  • 1.  How do I setup antivirus on an EMC Isilon?

    I downloaded the pdf on how to seup antivirus scanning on the Isilon but alas no info on exactly what needs to setup to do it. Is it an external computer or server and then software on there to hook in as ICAP to the Isilon? Is there special software other than my normal SEP 12.1 antivirus.

    sorry to be a noob on this but brand new to the Isilon.

    Update- I added the Share in quesiton on the Isilon to the antivirus server closest to the Isilon and am doing a scan of the files on the mapped drive. It started and has been sitting on the 257th file now for about an hour meaning it has basically stopped. I am assuming something doesn't like it that way.

    Check the scan logs and is it stopped or suspended

    I changed the preferences to the highest performance and that seems to be working now.
