    If you select the MP1 upgrade in SIM, does it select SD 7.5?

    Ever since 7.1 SP2 SD has been uncoupled from the SMP installation. Simply put when you select to upgrade to MP1.1 it won't automatically select the SD 7.5 installation. 

    So you should be fine. Just may sure to read the MP1.1 best practises KB Article:
