How do I perform a search using computer model number in the SMC? I go to Add Search Criteria, then Add Custom Criteria and I am not seeing this anywhere?

Thank you

If you add a custom criteria selecting Manufacturer, you should see Manufacturer and Model appear on the right. Check the boxes for one or both and click OK.

Then choose the drop-down for Custom Criteria once more and your selections should now appear in the list.

Anyone have any ideas as to why we are not seeing "Manufacturer" as an option under DataClasses ???

Thank you

I am still unclear on how to resolve this issue. Can anyone summarize what I need to do to make this work correctly?

Thank you

You will need to run the Inventory to asset synchronization task (Manage > Jobs and Tasks > System Jobs and Tasks > Service and Asset Management > CMDB) on client machines that you want to get the manufacturer info populated.

Is CMDB solution installed ? if not you may have to install it to get it working.
