    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this and just wanted some more understanding of hiow PGP NetShare worked. Do all users have to be internal? Is it a user ID/password access system? Do I need any other pgp products for this to work?

    Many thanks in advance

The NetShare users of the folder must belong to a local network or domain.  The files placed in the NetShare protected folder are encrypted to the public keys of the NetShare users of the folder.  When one of the authorized users accesses a file in the protected folder, it is sent to the user's machine in the encrypted state and then decrypted by the user's private key when it is at the user's computer; when saved back to the protected folder, it is also transmitted in the encrypted state.

Thanks for this! Would you happen to know what level of encryption this is at?

256 bit AES for the folder symmetric encryption.
