How to e-mail the results of a report in NS 7
This issue has been solved. See solution.
I have several reports that need to be emailed to different users that I had working in NS 6. I have now stood up a new NS 7 and I am trying to configure it to email a report to a few users. This will need to happen on a schedule. After many attempts with creating task and automation policies I just can't get it figured out. I would appreciate any suggestions. I found Article ID: 33657 on the Altiris Knowledge Base, which sounds like what I want, but I need it for Notification Server 7.
It works with Automation policies
Here is how it works:
Go to Manage - Automation Policy
Greate a new Policy, under data source, select report and then under neath that pick the report you want.
Under actions, select job/task, now there go to "System Jobs and Tasks" - "Notification Server" - "Automation Policy Tasks"
Select " send automated report email ". In the advanced settings you can type in the To and CC email
Hope this puts you on the right track.

That gets me closer
That has gotten me closer, but I still do not get a report or a link in the email. I know there is information in the report because I can see it when I run the report. Below is a screenshot from the email that I receive.
Another KB Article
Perhaps check AKB article #48458. It's for NS 7. If this hasn't worked for you, call in to support if you haven't already done so.

Article 48986 (draft)
I ended up talking to support about this and here is a copy of the kb article (which is still in draft so not available yet on kb.altiris.com)
