  • 1.  How to filter this type file ?

    Hi,

    I got this file from an attacker and SMG allowed delivery without any action.

    Virus and malware protection is active. 

    How can I prevent this type file allow ?

    Hi,

    As SMG is not following links there is no malicious code in the mail. SMG has a feature called ultra-url which looks for links - probabley this link is not listed.

    1. Submit the mail as missed spam to symantec

    2. Use additional products to analyse links within mails

    3. Block download links at your proxy or firewall
