  • 1.  How to force update the weekly scan policy in SEPM ?

    Guys,

    I have created separate non-shared policy in the Clients | MyCompany--->DefaultGroup | Location Specific Policies and settings | New Antivirus and Antispyware policy

    after waiting for more than 2 hrs in my laptop I cannot see any changes in the SEP client | Scan For Threats | Scans it is still Enabled = No ?

    I have:

    1. RIght Click in the SEP client and then Update Policy - with green dot

    2. RIght Click in the SEPM and then refresh on the MyCompany--->DefaultGroup and then Right Click again and Update Content

    all to no avail ?

    can anyone help me please ?

    open sepm

    policies

    Antivirus and Antispyware policy

    here you should see your new policy

    righ click on that and select apply, select your default group.

    it should say the location use count is 1.

    these are the basic troubleshooting steps
