  • 1.  How to generate a report of user who are using removable media.

    Hi All,

    Good day

    I configured a SEMS server for encrypting the Removable media. Now my requirement is to generate a report for all the users who ever connect and used the Removable media (USB, External HDD etc) and the action taken by the PGP WDE Client (SED). SEMS- 3.2.1 and WDE is 10.2.1.4940.

    The option I selected in the Desktop tab is to Encrypt the media or Lock it.

    Could someone help me in this regard Please..

    I want to know how to hide " Disable Symantec Endpoint Protection" from client machine.

    Hi Harsha,

    Check please if this fullfill your requirements (SEMS > Reporting >Overview) and click on Export Data button down on the page and choose Symantec Drive Encryption Activity a.k.a PGP Whole Disk encryption (3.2.1). Check the activity.

    Be aware that some of the logs are staying withing SED clients itself regarding SED WDE (no matter if it's managed or unmanaged client).
    If you don't see the logs on SEMS but only on SED client than I am afraid this is by design and  we have got some feature request put in place to have more detiled WDE logs added to SEMS reporting page.
