How to get Backup Window Details for all Policies
Hi Guys
Need your help to find out the backup Window Details for all Policies
In our netbackup environment, we have around 1000+ backup policies and around 3000+ schedules for those backup policies- daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, ondemand, special...etc
I need to export the backup window details for each backup schedule in excel format
Like....
| Backup Policy | Schedule | Day | Start Time | End Time |
| sun_servers | Daily | Mon | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | Tues | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | Wed | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | Thur | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | Fri | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | Sat | 9:00 | 13:00 |
| sun_servers | Daily | All Sundays except first | 15:00 | 21:00 |
| sun_servers | Monthly | First Sunday of month | 15:00 | 21:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Mon | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Tues | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Wed | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Thur | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Fri | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | Sat | 10:00 | 14:00 |
| hp_servers | Daily | All Sundays except first | 16:00 | 22:00 |
| hp_servers | Monthly | First Sunday of month | 16:00 | 22:00 |
Please suggest me how can I get this type of details...either from command line OR from Netbackup GUI
Thanks in advance

Hi, If you want all polices.
Hi,
If you want all polices. go to policy tab and click on summary and then click on polices. You can see all polices, select all ( Ctrl+ A) and export ( symbol floppy disk) . It will export as .txt file , you can export all through excel.
Open excel sheet , go to data tab , go to import and export. choose the txt file then next ..... after that you see all.
Note. you need to know how to import and export file ( Ms- office, Excel)

Also try bppllist -U (I personally find the -U option more 'readable'):

Type: Automatic Backup
Frequency: every 1 day
Maximum MPX: 5

PFI Recovery: 0
Retention Level: 0 (1 week)
Number Copies: 1

For output of all policies: bppllist -U -allpolicies >c:\temp\policies.txt
