  • 1.  How to have datasets automatically lock in Data Collection 10.5.1

I would like to be able to run baseline reports on the oldest dataset and the newest dataset without me having to lock each and every dataset each time the query is run. Is it possible to have the dataset locked automatically each time the query is run or does this always have to be done manually?

    Thank you,

    Tameka

Data sets are numbered in decreasing order, with the newest dataset first. To always compare the newest vs the oldest, when you build your baseline compare dataset #1 to dataset #50, assuming that you have kept the default setting of 50 datasets. Otherwise, compare #1 to #[MAX stored datasets].

The last run was #1, the one before that was #2, and so on.

    I hope that helps!

You can actually choose to lock one of the historical data sets and it will be the one referred to as the "Locked" set.  The other will work as described in the previous post.  You can then setup the baselines to compare to the "Locked" set or you can just use the numbering system as well.
