How to hide pcanywhere Quickconnect from Programs Menu and Add/Remove Programs?
I just checked and pcAny isn't listed in my add/remove. And for the icon, I used to remove it (using Jobs and Tasks), until I realized that I didn't care if users clicked on it because they didn't have rights to use it...
Check this older post with an importable script you can run to remove Quick Connect (you can run this as a managed policy 1x a month or something)

If you agree Quick Connect should by default not go out to all of your clients - may be worth voting up this idea submitted to Symantec. I don't know if they follow the ideas but wouldn't hurt.
