I would like to know on how to identify if a GUP about updated. It can be either on SEPM or using a third party tools.
I do not wish to know the manuall method.

pull out the reports from SEPM console for monitor ---> logs ---> System--> client activity ---> and event type 'Client content update events'

when you export this report, you should find like Downloaded from sepm..

You can create a report form Monitor tab with GUP=Yes option from there you can identify tat GUP is updated or not.

Is this tool ever going to be incorporated in the next SEP release as there is no official help with this tool...

For now there are no official plans for implementing this tool in the SEP.
