What version of Windows are

What version of Windows are you on?

If you are on Windows Vista/7 then go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp

Find the latest EVClient_* log file and open it
It may be because you are using Outlook anywhere and EV has detected it as RPC over HTTP for which the desktop policies default is to switch the client off completely

Also remember that the Outlook 2010 integration is different to the integration with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007.  You won't see toolbar buttons.  You should see an Enterprise Vault option though :

Patrick, I'll answer your

Patrick, I'll answer your question, though you should be a good-boy and start a new forum thread :)

There are currently plans being put together to make the HTTP "fully" functional..  ie the things that the full client gives you (examples being the ability to choose an archive when you manually archive an item, and to see the EV tab on folder properties) available in the HTTP client.

The plans are just that.  Plans.  At the moment there is no timeframe available around when this will be delivered, and it might come in stages.

Thanks

like Rob said above, start a new thread if you have a new question

If you go to the Desktop

If you go to the Desktop Policy and then go to Advanced tab and drop down the list to Vault Cache and theres an option to Show Setup Wizard , the default is On, just switch it to off

Desktop Policy is something

Desktop Policy is something that Enterprise Vault uses and can be administered via the Vault Admin Console, its not an option for when you deploy the MSI
