Client Management Suite

We have users that are using applications which are portable off their jumpdrive or shared network folders. But Altiris Inventory is not picking these applications up in App Metering or regular inventory. Is there another method to collect informations on this type of applications and stopping them with Application Control/Metering?

I have not used Application Control's File Inventory yet because we do not know which machines to target to collect the information yet.

Are you sharing it with Application Metering? I've never had a problem inventoring and blocking applications on flash drives. Make sure you are scanning and not excluding all local drives in your auditpls.ini (and check the box that allows you to use the inventory solution .ini for app metering).
