My customers requires to encrypt a file that is being transported over the WAN each time an application creates that particular file. The encrypted will be feeded to the 3rd Party database where it would be decrypted.

Since i couldnt find any licensing guide for PGP products on the partner portal or the internet, can someone please assist on how to lincense PGP Command Line?

Can you help me understand what issues you are having licensing PGP Command Line?  If we can improve the documentation or process, we'd like to know.

In addition to the documentation, you can see this support article:

PGP Command Line is licensed per server and per CPU. If you want to install and run PGP Command Line on two servers with 4 CPUs each you will need:

2x PGP Command Line 4CPU license

To be more detailed, we license per core, a dual-core CPU would require a 2 CPU license.

Full details can be found in the EULA: http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/enterprise/e...
