How to lock keyboard and mouse during deployment

I can't understand why any discussion gets "locked" and considered resolved -- where is your desire to improve?  Where is your pioneering spirit?  So what if no one has commented in a month... some solutions take longer than a month to unfold -- should those solutions be shut out and disassociated from the other proposed solutions?  Oh well...  :)

As a deployment guy, I find this solution better than the one "locked".  The locked one suggests not joining the machines to the domain and yes that does work.  I used that method until I found the one below.

You can lock the mouse and keyboard automatically during deployment using batch files.  You can also unlock it automatically or manually using the second batch file.  Full information found here:
