  • 1.  How to make a bootable USB that can multicast with the newest version of Ghost

    Hello, 

    I would like to create a USB than can boot on Ghost and can multicast cast.

    I knew how to do it with the old version of Ghost, but it has been a while i used Ghost and im lost. 

    I dont know how to use de "Boot Disk Creator", there is something to do with WinPe 5.1 but i dont understand.

    (PS:im using the OPTIPLEX 9020 and my network card is "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-LM")

    You will want to make sure that you have installed the ghost standard tools from the new 3.0 suite.   

    This video is for the prior "new" boot disk creator.   You can follow it for instructions on how to set up the pE 4.0  environment in GSS 3.

    This video has the steps for adding new drivers to your boot disk.

    And last how to add automation to the boot disk.     To get ghost to automaticlally join a ghost cast session you could add the switch -ja=session_name     using the session name of your session.

    Why when i try to install 3.0 suite its says that its installing MS SQL but its been saying that for over 2 hour?

    Is it normal that it takes so much time?

    Have you checked for any other dialog boxes in the background?

    No there is just the Installation and Google Ghrome open.

    Is there anything to download related to MS SQL?

    Shouldn't be required. Can you download the required version of SQL Server Express and try a manual installation on your test machine to check whether you get any error messages.  Do you have a clean VM? Might also be worth testing on a clean VM or another machine in case there is an issue with your first machine.
