Hi All,

AS the subject highlight is it possible to add device ID's manually to the SEPM and allow or block them through  policy? One of my client having USB headphone set and he want to enable that and disable the other usb device usage. Of curse I'm aware about the exemption rule for the USB mouse and keyboard. Unfortunately I couldn't enable it through the device policy. But I found out if I ass the usb camera and camcorder device then it enables, but this will bring another security breach. So can anyone share with me the steps to accomplish this requirement. Hope someone out there has gone through this method.

Thanks in advance,

Susantha

Hi Susantha,

Sorry, but at the moment you can't block individual devices - currently device blocking works on Class ID, rather than Device ID.  This will change, but thats how it is at the moment.

sorry, thanks
