do you have  any technical document on process to migrate sepm from one server to another. latest version.

server 2003 to server 2008.

1. Install new SEPM on 2008

1. Install new SEPM on 2008 server and connect the clients back to sepm using SylinkReplacer

2. If you do not have replication and do not wish to have replication in near future.
Install new SEPM as Replication Partnet..Assign new Management server list so that all clients point to new server then un-install old SEPM.

Are you able to provide same

Are you able to provide same Name and IP address to new server?IF yes do as follows.
Take a backup of current server,remove it form network,install new server with old server IP and name.Install SEPM(same version) in this sever.Do a disaster recovery.Refer this KB
