  • 1.  How to move configurations from production to test servers

I have seen various docs on exporting and importing settings, but they all seem to be solutions to do this one at a time. I would like to be able to export something that would contain all the policies, client groups, reports, and other items. Is there a way to do this, or do I have to do it one at a time?

    Thanks

Policies can easily be moved via exporting but yes this will be one at a time. And out of the items above, policies are the only thing that can be exported. Everything else is in the backend DB

We're talking two separate SEPM environments here, correct? Otherwise you would need to follow the DR process and get the prod data over to test.

Yes these are two seperate environments with one in an isloated lab. We have quite a few settings in place and I wanted to make sure that I had as many as possible in our lab. We are prepping for a 12.1.6mp1 upgrade, so trying to a thourough test.

I sure would be nice to have some type of tool to be able to clone the environments.

    Thanks for the confirmation.
