So I've got AD importing fine, but as the users i want are not in the traditional 'user's' folder, i had to import the whole AD.

Of course that means that lists are now populated with a LOT of groups ....

Is there is simple way to NOT import some groups ?

Cheers
J

Any Updates?

I have experienced the same problem.  After importing the groups from AD it was realized this has just made a mess of the lookup list for re-assignments.  Would like to know how to selectively import certain groups (even containers or OUs would be nice).

Also, is there an easy way to remove all the groups that were imported?

Thanks!!!

But if you delete an AD group( or user), woluldnt it just be added back in on the next sync since there is a mismatch? Or does it retain it somehwere else and mark it as 'dont import xyz'?

Try MR1

If you update to the MR1 release of software the AD import allows you to import individual OUs.

It is possible to delete groups from the List Groups option under Admin/users/Accounts using the action icon on the RHS of the group.

I'm on MR2 and don't have an option for deleteing anything in Admin/users/Accounts

I want to know if there is any way to remove users+groupd that were imported from AD?

Go get rid of ALL groups, I had to do that via a workflow that runs every so often.
