What happens when NTP is installed on a managed client but no firewall policy or Intrusion policy configured at the SEPM.

Server mode control is configured in SEPM. So no rules can be added/edited from the client end.

Now what NTP does in this scenario? Are there any default NTP configurations that will be taken into account by SEP client?

By default there are some rules enabled in default FIrewall policy. If you disble this policy, the effective rule in the client end will be "allow all".

So if no FW or IP polciy configured in SEPM then it is of no use whether the client has NTP installed or not.

    Rite?
