  • 1.  How to Open .ghs files if one is corrupt

    Hello,
I am having an issue with a spanned ghost image.  One of the ghs files seems to have gotten corrupt and now the explorer isnt reading it fully,  its in the middle of the spanned image too, which makes it worse.  Is there anyway to bypass this file and extra the files out of the other ghs files and which program would I use for that.  Or are there any alternatives to it?

I put some effort into the Ghost Explorer in GSS2.5 to make it try much, much harder to make sense of damaged images instead of simply giving up the instant it saw even a bit out of place as the previous versions did.

Something you can try is the GSS2.5 trialware which contains that latest version of Explorer, which is the best (indeed, the only) tool that is likely to be able to help with this. If that can't extract the files, the only other alternative is to supply us with the image so we can analyse the pattern of damage that is present to try and teach Explorer some new heuristics to help it recover.
