This issue has been solved. See solution.

Dear all,

I have recently installed a new server with SEPM 12 and installed about 200 new clients with remote push and everything was fine.

The problem is with the rest of 300 clients that need to be upgraded from SEP 11 to SEP 12 and now are managed with an old server with SEPM 11.

When I tried to install SEP 12 version without to unninstall SEP 11, it keeps the old client setting and automatically added to the old SEPM11 server instead the client to be added in the SEPM 12.

There is any way to solve this problem without manually uninstall of the old client version?

Thank you very much!

Ionut

You can use auto upgrade feature

Upgrade clients to SEP 12.1 by Auto upgrade feature

When you created the package, you need to select the option below in red. Client-server settings need to be reset so they point to your new server.
