  • 1.  How to password protect the "Disable Antivirus and Antispyware Protection" option on the clints

Hi,  was wondering if there is a policy on the Endpoint Management Version 11.0 that can be set so that users are not able to disable the anti-virus on their system without inputting a password.

    Thank you

You can set a password on the client to open the SEP GUI on the Clients

Thanks guys.  What about instead of having a password protect, just having that option grayed out?

You can't password protect that specifically. But you can password protect the GUI if someone tries to open it.

Clients ---> Policies ---> General Settings ---> Security tab

tick the box Require a password to open the client user interface

You can also hide the icon from showing in the task tray as well as stop users from opening the GUI via Start menu

Yes, under File-System Auto-Protect, make sure the lock symbol is "locked"
