This issue has been solved. See solution.

I allow users to pause their scheduled scan, but when I open the SEP window, I can only see a scan progress bar.  How do I pause the scan?  See attached screenshots.

I realise this, but this

I realise this, but this policy is as it was out of the box.  Why would it be defined this way, i.e. there is no way for the use to pause the scan although they are allowed to.

Without showing scan progress

Without showing scan progress there is no way you can pause or snooze a scan.

So, what is the difference between, stop, pause and snooze in these settings?
If they have the option to "stop" the scan, will it start up again at the pause interval or is cancelled til the next scan date?
It seems that if you do not check off the ability to stop it, they can't snooze or pause it either.

We don't want the user to be able to stop it for good, just pause it temporarily if it is slowing down their machine during a critical task.
