Just withdraw the firewall policy. You can still use the IPS if needed.

Please click the "Mark as solution" link at bottom left on the post that best answers your question. This will benefit admins looking for a solution to the same problem.

Even if the firewall policy has been withdrawn and not assigned to any group - does IPS still work and
does the windows firewall then takeover?

Thanks.

But I've just noticed a bigger problem. Customer requires all software to be in swedish. So, SEP is not longer an option for this project.

Check with Customer care i guess there is SEP language pack available in Swedish

Hello,

Network Threat Protection drivers (teefer.sys) need to be uninstalled to disable the NTP (Firewall) feature.

So, in case you want to Permanently Disable Network Threat Protection (firewall) Feature from the client machines from SEPM, then the only way is to uninstall the Feature.

Hello!

THanks for all your help.

But, as Customer Service has confirmed that there is no additional language packs SEP is out of the equation for this project.
